“All that we are is the result of what we have thought; it is founded on our thoughts and made up of our thoughts.” A bit more then a year ago i stumbled upon a verse of the Dhammapada while searching Google for some info on the Ajanta caves in Maharashtra. As i was writing a new track that still needed some vocals, i decided to use a verse from the Dhammapada as a vocal in that track. While i was finishing that track, The Unchangeable Place, i decided to do a full album containing excerpts from verses of the Dhammapada. Now after a bit more then a year, i’m more then happy that i did not just stick with a single track or a 2-3 track EP & went on to finish “Under The Bodhi Tree” as a album, that, so i hope, gives you as much pleasure listening to, as i had writing it. Beware that as a side effect you may experience moments of enlightment! Those moments of enlightment, they’re results of what YOU have thought, they’re founded on YOUR thoughts & made up of YOUR thoughts.
